There are moments when people make me really really happy.

These have apparently been making the rounds. I saw them for the first time yesterday and I think they're brilliant. Plus, nothing impresses me more than a beautiful waste of time. I love that someone sat down and put this together for no reason other than amusement. This is what technology at your finger tips is all about.

My favourite part of this is the way the announcer says,
"Shining!" at the end, with that super-happy voice.

Ah people. They're the best.

Serah - if you read this, make Ted watch the trailers. I think he'll love them. The first one I saw made me think of his House-of-the-Rising-Sun-over-Gilligan's-Island-Theme.

Wow. I loved the Shining one the best... it really took some effort to pull that off, of course I think most of the clips were from the very beginning of the video.

These are fantastic. The Mary Poppins one made me laugh. Especially when the "Hide your children" line appeared. Aw.

That's awesome! The Shining one doesn't seem to work, but the Mary Poppins one is fantastic, because I always thought she was kindof evil anyway.

I hate camping

I am a horrible person. I loved the creepy Mary Poppins far more than the heartwarming Shinning. I knew that eventually the wish to debase the pure would get to me. I just never thought it would come in the guise of Mary Poppins...OH! Woe is me:-p

That Mary Poppins gave me a case of the willies! I'd like to do a visual manipulation of the the movie Child's Play. I think it wouldn't be very challenging but the creativity could sure flow!

@manatee_wannabe - There are. There's a great one for Top Gun with lots of shots of Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer looking at eachother with lust in their eyes. Go to YouTube and search "shining trailer recut" and all kind of them will pop up.

ROFL - I watched the Shining one thinking, OMG Jack looks so young in this movie. They must have done a great makeup job on him. Then I start thinking, some of these scenes look familiar. Shining pops on the screen and I realize that it has been too long since I've seen that movie.

Also freaky - the kids have been watching Mary Poppins.

@Happy_Feet_99 - If I didn't know what I was watching when I first saw it, I would have thought exactly the same thing. The person who recut it did a really brilliant job of making it look like a totally different film.
